Solution Architect - Financial Services.
Solution Architect required by our leading Asset Management client to work on a large scale Greenfield solution. The role of Solution Architect within Fidelity Worldwide Investments is viewed as critical to the ongoing success of our Technology transformation.
We have embarked on a multiyear programme around our Front Office trading platforms, adopting the platform as the choice across asset multiple classes. The initial phase of the program was focused on Fixed Income. We are moving into the subsequent phase focussed on migrating Equities and hence the volume of our business onto the new platform. This role will develop the solution architecture as we move into the subsequent phases on equities and Fixed Income.
Essential skills for the role:
* Experience of having worked as a solution architect across a portfolio of applications, preferably in Financial Services.
* Knowledge and understanding of asset management industry gained working either at an Asset Manager, a Financial Services Service Provider or a software company.
*Strong experience of using Java/C#/.Net technologies, Integration technologies, messaging, WebServices and strong knowledge of OOAD.
