Description
EA Particle Product Delivery Engineer.
Specific tasks include
-- Deliver EA toner particle for a specific program from initial pilot plant batches through scale-up & transfer to manufacturing.
-- Interface with cross-organizational, multi-disciplinary team members, including EA manufacturing plants.
-- Design, conduct, and analyze process & material latitude studies.
-- Design & conduct pilot-scale experiments (including hands-on processing).
-- Plan & coordinate production trials.
-- Manage and analyze both pilot plant and manufacturing data for product development and problem solving.
-- Develop understanding of materials/process interactions using designed experiments.
-- Lead problem solving activities.
-- Prepare pilot plant/manufacturing trial documents and monthly progress reports.
-- Flexible working hours required for supporting pilot plant operations and manufacturing trials.
-- Travel and manufacturing support is necessary.
Applicant Qualifications:
-- BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent experience.
-- Working knowledge of colloidal suspension, emulsions, small particle technology, statistical experimental design, and xerography, preferred.
-- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills necessary.
