Microsoft Messaging Expert

Our Client is seeking a Microsoft Messaging Expert for a long term contract in Corning, NY. The Client offers a broad range of end-to-end fiber optic and copper product solutions for customers' telecommunications networks.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and Maintain Global Enterprise Level Messaging Systems.
Provide third level operational support within messaging environment.
Work closely with first and second level support teams to provide quality customer service.
Troubleshoot more complex applications, infrastructure problems or other IT problems that may have a significant impact on our messaging service.
Serve as the technical lead on projects by participating as project resource representing the messaging team.
Train and develop junior team members in technical areas through one-on-one development.
Identify, develop and document operational processes.
Continuously looking at how to improve upon existing process, innovation.

Job Requirements:
Bachelors' degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field;
4-6 year's experience in Microsoft Exchange Server administrator role
Experience implementing, managing and maintaining Exchange 2010 infrastructure.
Proven Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010 including routing, recovery, installation, management, monitoring and administration.
Proven knowledge of Exchange 2010 Active/Passive clustering utilizing SAN-attached storage.
Strong communication and documentation skills; and enjoys working in a team environment.
Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.
On Call Rotation required.

Desired:
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
Proven knowledge of the following: Exchange Roles, SMTP routing, Outlook 2010, Blackberry PDA's, High Availability solutions.
Ability to independently operate BlackBerry, Lync Server 2010 and other messaging services.
Strong understanding of Active Directory administration, structure, permissions, and best practices.
Strong understanding of Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 and Virtualization.
Familiarity with data management, including SAN storage, replication, backup and recovery and disaster planning.
