Tivoli (TIM/TAM) Senior Project Manager
Tivoli is IBMs enterprise identify and access management software solution. Our Client is currently implementing Tivoli and requires strong project management and communications skills combined with Tivoli experience and knowledge to successfully complete the implementation program.
Major Responsibilities:
o Project manages the client Tivoli implementation that consists of multiple projects and implementation phases with particular focus on the delivery of solutions using: Standard Methodologies, Resource Management & Evaluation, Project Planning, Project Administration, Budget Management and Project Review & Analysis best practices.
o Onboard Tivoli projects using the enterprise SDLC model
o Drive project results/decisions through strong, well organized meeting facilitation
o Consolidate, prioritize, and analyze a single Tivoli program list of issues, risks and dependencies to manage on a day to day basis, including an escalation process to secure senior leader decisions within project timelines
o Provide decision makers with decision support services (eg options, issues, risks, mitigation plan and recommendations)
o Provide regular project status updates in written and verbal formats
o Develop and deliver appropriate project related business and IT communication planning
o Function as primary client point of contact for project work; developing detailed project plans, completing deliverables on time meeting agreed upon quality metrics and budgetary constraints
o Manage and coordinate activities between production support and cross-functional teams/workgroups for related projects and on-going initiatives
o Project manage and provide guidance for 3rd party vendors/outsourced resources deliverables
o Coordinate technology and implementation plans with other divisions and business domain project areas as needed and actively identify potential project conflicts
Qualifications
o 2 to 3 years experience with Identity or Access management technologies: eg Tivoli: TIM/TAM, Oracle/Sun IDM, CA Identity Manager
o At least 3 year organization and communications skills
o Demonstrated strong meeting facilitation skills
o Strong team player able to negotiate alternative approaches/solutions
o At least 3 years experience with project prioritization, planning, estimating, staffing, skills tracking, time reporting, measurement, resource negotiation, scope containment, issues/risks management, and other related systems development life cycle processes.
o Broad understanding of information technology and its usage
o At least 3 years managing large scale development and implementation projects
o Demonstrated strong attention to detail, process, deadlines and quality results
o At least 3 years of meeting project timeliness/deliverables
o At least 3 years identifying and proactively manage project risk
o Ability to lead through the creation of innovative strategies, methods, and approaches
o At least 3 years of budgeting and planning
o Ability to manage within a changing and dynamic environment
Education/Relevant Experience:
o Prior Tivoli implementation experiences
o Bachelor degree or relevant experience required
o Minimum 7 - 10 years combined program/project management/systems implementation experience
o IBM Tivoli certification a plus
o PMI Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent a plus
o CISSP certification a plus
