Description
We currently have an immediate need for a Systems Engineer with server design experience for a 6+ month renewable contract located in Alpharetta, GA. Qualified candidates will have experience in HP, Sun and IBM server technologies and design. Candidates will have experience in the development of Servers per client requirements outlining requirements for storage, back/recovery options and proper CPU usage.
- Knowledgeable in HP, Sun, and IBM server technology (p) and development of server designs
- Develop server designs per client's format by completing a requirements analysis and determining the appropriate number of CPUs, amount of memory, network interface connections, etc.
- Outline requirements for storage and backup/recovery.
- Obtain vendor hardware quotes and develop cost estimates
