My client, one of the leading IT Vendor & software Integrator, is looking to hire an experienced SDM/Project Manager with solid experience of successfully managing and delivering, large scale IT projects.

The Service Delivery Manager/Project Manager is a vital position within the organisation and is critical to achieving the business mission to be the leading software integrator. The Senior SDM/PM delivers a program of work that delivers commercial value to the network, and ensures an ongoing focus on optimising future distribution footprint. The consultancy has just won a large tender with a government organisation and you will be in charge of rolling out the current structure to the new client.

Successful candidate would be responsible for managing the successful transfer of the service ownership to the operational Service Delivery team. You will be in charge of managing the project & transition the new services into existing customer operations, from first identifying the initial resource requirements, time scales and deliverables, through to planning, deployment and operational and technical sign off during the transition. You will be responsible for supporting and defining transition projects ensuring they are delivered to the required quality, setting up governance standards time scale and budget. You will be responsible to manage changes to ensure service availability/continuity

You will have a proven track of record in delivering large scale portfolio projects within complex enterprise environments.

Proven ability to control multi-million dollar budgets and manage multi-skilled, multi-site teams across different locations on a variety of projects is essential.

Successful candidate must have the following experience:

  • Solid Service Delivery background (incident, problem, change management) 
  • Solid experience in Project Management, consultancy of procurement 
  • Proven experience with managing end to end projects > $1M
  • Must have PMP certification
  • Solid experience working within ITIL frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder assessment, engagement and management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide insights and recommendations
  • Proven track record of implementation of projects through the ability to influence and facilitate decision making and delivery
  • Report, review and continually improve service performance
  • Governance of Overall Service Operations
  • Service Delivery, Service Level Agreement and Service Reporting
  • Drive initiatives to improve Customer satisfaction
  • Manage major problems or incidents
  • Ability to represent and be an advocate for both staff and customers

Candidates must have previous consultancy background with strong PM/portfolio management experience in order to be considered for this position.
