QA & QC Engineers for Gas Pipeline Project- Rolling 12 month contract
- FIFO from anywhere on the East coast

Stellar is working in partnership with this global petroleum group that set out to deliver a multibillion dollar greenfields Coal Seam Gas - LNG project. Their immediate focus is to ensure that the upstream infrastructure is in place to transport the gas to Gladstone. These facilities include the 42* export trunk line, gas gathering lines, compression and metering units and water treatment plants.
They have an immediate requirement for 2 x QC Engineers
Whilst reporting into the Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of pipeline construction is consistent with the policy and requirements of pipelines specifications against international standards. In addition you will ensure that all quality risks are correctly identified, assessed and managed to meet the requirements from the operational perspective. You will liaison with third party quality inspectors and specialist examination bodies/subcontractors to ensure that procedures and testing methods comply with the relevant standards.
The successful QC Engineer will have:
- 15+ years of major project experience with minimum 10 years in oil, gas and/or pipelines industry
- NDE and other inspection qualifications commensurate with position that demonstrate adequate levels of experience in quality control
- Demonstrated understanding of the regulatory approvals processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal and presentation) to motivate and influence all levels of management, external parties and work as an integral team member
- Proven analytical, organising, planning and problem solving skills with sound technical knowledge in areas of responsibility.
