Position: ETL Specialist - Abi nitio
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 2 years
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
- 4 years of experience in Application Design and Development using Ab Initio
- 3 years of experience in Oracle SQL queries and Stored Procedures
- 2 years of experience in developing Shell Scripts either in Unix or Linux
- 2 year of experience in Ab Initio Continuous Flow components
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science
- OCP Certified
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, executes and maintains ETL code in Ab Initio for multiple Operational Data Store, Data warehousing, and Data mart systems
- Performance tuning of Ab Initio graphs and Oracle SQL queries and Stored Procedures
- Creates technical detail design and test documents
- Writes documentation that describes installation and operating procedures
- Familiar with EME operations and able to resolve data lineage issues
- Participates in post-implementation reviews of both application development content and process to maximize and share learning
- Resolve or escalate problems, and manage risk for both development and production support
- Can perform independently and guide, assist or mentor others in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and installing a large/complex or several smaller solutions
- Responsible for communicating to management on status, problems, issues and underlying process problems
- Review the technical work of other team members
- Ensure adherence to ETL standards and methods
