Description
Responsibilities:
Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customers samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. Responsible for designing, developing and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
Expert:
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers. Typically a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 plus years related experience or Masters degree and a minimum of 4-6 years experience. Computerized electronic test equipment.
