This is a web application deployed a year back. The enhancements and changes are being made to stabilize the application. Looking for a senior tester who can understand the functionality of the application and the data. There have been a lot of data issues with the data coversion from mainframe. The QA tester role involves testing the application functionality and testing the data.
Must be able to understand the functionality of the existing application and data Must be good at understanding the data, and ability to use SQL to validate/test using the data Perform regression testing, manual testing for new changes/enhancements. Should be able to determine and test different scenarios and document test results. Coordinate with developers to ensure timely closure of defects Candidate must be able to work independently. For most of the time, this is a single member testing effort. The candidate must be a go-getter. Will be involved in end user interaction, must be able to communicate with all levels.
