Description
A major Retail Bank is looking for a Contracts/Vendor Manager to join there team.
The Contracts Manager will provide contractual and commercial advice to senior management and their teams. This will involve providing a professional contracts negotiation drafting and advice service in respect of contracts with 3rd party suppliers of goods and services.
Main duties:
*To train and develop Buyers on legal and contractual matters relating to the supply of goods and services.
*The Contracts function provides specialist, contractual commercial and professional advice for the negotiation, letting and administration of contracts with 3rd party suppliers of goods and services to the bank
*Interfacing with any and all other parts of the Group and with external suppliers.
*Liaising with Legal, Compliance, Data Protection, Insurance, Tax, Information Risk, IT Security and other bank and departmental policy holders
Candidates must have:
*Strong experience of contract negotiation and advisory
*Recent experience of a similar role
*Strong experience working with 3rd party vendors and suppliers
*Ideally candidates will have experience of a similar role within a banking environment
