We are looking for a project orientated Consultant to join our growing Financial Services practice, ideally with Financial Services experience to support our client with their Cognos system. The project will involve working with the finance team to reengineer the models built in Cognos, map out the ETL models and bring the team up to speed to support the budget process.
Your experience will include the ability to:
- Build and maintain Cognos models
- Add operational support to FP&A group
- Understand data management/able to import and create data.
- Build MI dashboards
- Able to recognise when a change is big enough to require testing but be pragmatic enough to understand when it is not necessary
- Team manager/leader
Successful applicants will also possess:
- Professional qualification, for example ACA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Relevant Financial Services experience, from a blue chip environment.
- Client service driven with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Hands-on, flexible and adaptable approach.
- Can demonstrate a real desire to analytically problem solve and add value.
