Currently in the process of delivering billion plus expansion and improvement programmes, the leadership of the business require a higher level of day-to-day focus in ensuring that customer service delivery is protected and where possible improved, and that the relationship with the delivery partners continues to be managed effectively. Health and safety management in the transport sector is a key experience for any applicants.

The successful candidate will have:-
*Extensive experience of transport operations at a senior management level and be able to demonstrate evidence of improving customer experience in the environment
*Strong communication skills, including negotiation, influencing ability and commercial enhancements
*Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience of dealing with a complex set of delivery partners
*Demonstrable understanding of Health a Safety priorities in this industry sector
*Experience of increasing revenue opportunities in passenger transport and a proven high level of analytical and commercial work would be an advantage.

The position will start before Christmas, and candidates should ideally be available for interview w.c. 28 November 2011.
