Supply Chain/Purchasing Coordinator - Contract circa £25k pro rata

Our client are one of the most exciting companies to work for in the UK and one of Warwickshires fastest growing companies. Manufacturing niche, high value products and operating within automotive they now require a Senior Administrative resource capable of supporting supply chain and quality teams across multiple locations.

You will support Supply Chain and quality teams in all issues relating to vehicle production launch that requires coordinating and input from teams and individuals in Leamington Spa HQ. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will coordinate timely responses, collating and communicating information to vehicle production teams.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:
Provide primary interface for collation and supply of information and assembly drawings to co-located Supply Chain teams
Manage throughput paperwork in respect to purchase orders/concessions and/or ECR's on behalf of the Supply Chain teams
Ensure current open order book reflects correct revision level and maintained accordingly
Input to configuration team in relation to changes in build standard
Management of commercial documentation for current supply base
Assist with additional operational related tasks as and when required

Experience, Qualifications & Competency Requirements:
Computer literacy is an essential part of the role utilising typical MS Office applications, flowcharting and document control software
Highly motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to continuously improve the way they work
Able to prioritise own work, making decisions between urgent and important
Communicates clearly to the level of the audience, checking to ensure that messages have been received and understood
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with individuals and teams
Basic understanding of problem-solving processes, tools and techniques eg Continuous Improvement and LEAN (advantageous, not essential)
Demonstrates good planning and organisational skills
Ideally you will have security clearance but not essential
Educated to a minimum of A' level standard or equivalent.
Availability to travel occasionally if required.
Full UK driving license

Contract is likely to extend in to the spring of 2012 and salary will be paid at circa 25k pro rata depending on experience. We will consider candidates that are both immediately and on short notice periods.
