GlassHouse Technologies (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking expressions of interest from qualified candidates who wish to discuss opportunities for future employment in our Network practice in Australia/New Zealand. Specifically, we are looking to augment our existing delivery team with additional resources who can demonstrate the technical expertise, and can assume the responsibility for, the networking solutions delivered by GlassHouse and its partners to customers in Australia/New Zealand.
To be considered, candidates will:
- Have superb interpersonal communication skills and the ability to participate in a team/project with several (possibly remote) team members.
- Have strong written, verbal and leadership skills
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Possess the technical skills, qualifications and knowledge to:
-Manage project scope and customer expectations, as a delivery leader in the field
-Setup and manage technical workshops
-Architect and design core infrastructure and networking solutions
-Analyse business requests and provide solutions to meet requirements
-Develop and maintain design & plan documentation - Be able to demonstrate significant hands on' experience in this field of work including:
-5 years plus proven experience as a successful telecoms/network architect
-Implementation and/or operation of the Nexus 7010, 6120, 1000V and overall UCS compute and Nexus interconnectivity
-Implementation and operation of routing and switching and understanding of OTV, LISP, vPC, vDC etc.
-Implementation and support of VLAN, including understanding of VLAN limitations, VLAN remapping and how to scale on the Nexus infrastructure
-Implementation and/or operation of HA and DR solutions using the Cisco product suite.
Desirable - knowledge of one or more of:
- SAN storage systems including Dell, HP & EMC arrays
- VDI Connection Brokers such as VMWARE View, CITRIX XenDesktop, Quest vWorkspace
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Possibly have background or experience in one or more of the roles of Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, Datacentre Architect
Be based in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne or Wellington and hold a valid visa for working in New Zealand or Australia.
