Management Accountant - £165 - £177 per day - South West
Our client, a world leader in diversified manufacturing of motion and control technologies and systems providing precision-engineered solutions for a wide variety of commercial, mobile, industrial and aerospace markets, are looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team for a year contract.
Responsibilities:
* The results of each month's manufacturing performance have to be recorded accurately and reported.
* The fixed asset register for the location should be maintained such that it accurately represents the Location's physical fixed asset cost base and the balances reported on the balance sheet.
* Movements in inventory should be booked to the General Ledger and explained within a monthly report
* Reports to be developed and maintained.
* Develop and implement Lean Accounting techniques, and ensure that internal controls are maintained effectively..Provide on-going support to the Division Controller through both assistance in ad-hoc assignments and providing cover during times of absence.
Experience and Skills:
* Qualified in an Accounting Profession (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
* 3+ years of accounting/finance experience.
* Must have excellent analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multi-department team.
* Excel to advanced level.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience of a Manufacturing background.
