Description
A temporary role has arisen to join a public service organisation in Coalville to provide support for all aspects of the Exchequer Section's duties including Income Collection, Payment of Suppliers, Salaries and all Reconciliation Services.
Specific tasks will include:
- Ensure that all income received by the Council is correctly allocated and reconciled
- Assist with the Monthly Reconciliation of the Main Bank Accounts, Payroll, Creditors, Miscellaneous Income, Sundry Debtors and Sub Contractors Tax Control Accounts together with the Staff Car Loan and Leasing Schemes
- Provide support in answering all types of queries made to the section
- Provide support in the processing and administration of Sundry Debtors
- Provide support in the processing and administration of the E-Purchasing System.
- Assist with preparation and input of monthly payroll data
The role requires the following:
- Approximately 2 years experience in a payments/income/administration office environment
- Experience in use of financial systems
- Experience of effective accounting reconciliations.
- Experience of paying suppliers
- Experience of allocating and reconciling large volumes of income
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel or equivalent
