Financial Modelling Analyst -Banking - London - Circa £700 per day
A leading retail bank requires a Financial Modelling Analyst with accountancy competencies to participate in the finance workstream. You will be helping to develop and operate the existing financial workstream ensuring its integrity and quality assurance.
You will be responsible for running the Financial model and co-ordinating inputs from all business areas. The role requires you to help carry out multiple scenarios and stress tests that must be run as more information becomes available. You will also develop the model as necessary to increase its complexity and level of detail.
You will be managing timelines and deadlines to obtain the required information from a number of sources and will have to be able to critically review the inputs and outputs to support the chief financial officer.
It is expected that you be comfortable influencing executive stakeholders, have excellent communication skills and also have the ability to plan and think in a creative way and have a proven track record showing an attention to detail.
It is vital that those thinking of applying have excellent financial modelling skills using MS Excel, a vast understanding of retail banking and also be a qualified accountant and have relevant experience.
