Description
Programmer analyst with .NET and SQL skills to support our Insurance line of business.
Qualified candidates will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of VB.NET experience
- Experienced with Visual Source Safe (VSS) and VSS code move process; or equivalent product
- Well versed in SQL, including writing and analysing large and complex SQL stored procedures
- General IIS and SQL administrator knowledge
- Great problem solver in a complex development environment that involves the windows server
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills; interpersonal and written
- Experience with both project and production support work, with on-call rotations
Characteristics:
- Ability to follow a development life cycle while either receiving specifications from a senior developer or working independently to gather the requirements from a business analyst.
- Have the ability to complete analysis, design, planning, testing, and implementation of solutions.
