This position will work on the our client's product's platform which is customized one-stop portal for business customers. Our client's product offers our corporate enterprise and small business customers a streamlined experience in purchasing and managing account activities through our client's online store and online care.
Description:
Defines scope, business and functional requirements for our client's portfolio of business-to-business eCommerce applications; performs detailed system and business process analysis; ensures enhancements and solutions positively contribute to, expand upon and do not conflict with overarching web business strategy.
Performs business analyst duties by reviewing and editing business and functional requirements related to software development life cycle using Business Objects reporting suite for data analysis; defines As-Is and To-Be process flows to identify gaps and new requirements.
Assists in preparing future proposals for our client's product's enhancements by authoring/co-authoring business cases; identifies opportunities for future enhancements and modifications.
Partners with our client's development, business sponsors, IS&D, and product managers to design high-level solution; ensures design documents accurately represents the solution by collaborating with IS&D on Wireframe and Comp development.
Ensures quality delivery of our client's product's enhancements by reviewing and approving QA test scripts to ensure testing will validate and verify that the product meets all Business and Functional requirements and functions as expected.
Authors UAT scenarios, data requests, and UAT scripts to ensure final product meets all requirements; leads UAT testing and communicates all defects identified during testing to the project manager.
Communicates to internal and external stakeholder groups information about current project and areas of subject matter expertise, including Release presentations and special Sales/Service Manager presentations, as needed; assists communications team with official Training and Communications Plan Conducts Business Validation testing upon deployment and supports Red Hat during each release.

Qualifications:
Required to have 2 years of prior BA experience (customer-facing web application experience preferred)
Adept at using Business Intelligence and metrics to guide decision making process
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; strong interpersonal skills; assertive
Strong analytical skills; ability to solve complex problems
Ability to make good decisions using Business Intelligence and metrics
Adapt to change as needed; able to shift gears and change direction on projects
4 year degree preferred
*Previous ecommerce/customer facing web application experience strongly preferred
