Our Glasgow based Financial Services Client is seeking a Programme Manager with Wealth Management experience to work on a RDR (Retail Distribution Review) Programme for six months.

The role holder will be responsible for all aspects of the business and technical change required to fulfil the terms of reference for the work stream.

Including:
Defining the Terms of Reference for the work stream, with the workstream sponsor and senior stakeholders. Agreeing the scope, work breakdown and timing of deliverables. Recruiting the necessary resources and fulfil the terms of reference to budget and time. Ensuring that the overall programme of change is underpinned with appropriate project life cycle controls and structures. Establishing processes to identify and mitigate all programme/project issues and risks including forward looking risks and issue management of up-to a year in advance. Enabling accurate and relevant status reporting across the overall change programme to allow Real Time decision making. Driving organisational decision making when required. Ensuring the necessary level of professional standards in the delivery team. Setting up and operating appropriate, change control methods. Identifying and managing dependencies, in a collegiate way, with other RDR work streams and with other Programmes on-going in the company.

The role holder will have proven Resource management and People management experience as well as excellent Stakeholder and third party management experience.

Extensive Financial services background and in particular Wealth Management experience is essential for this role so please only apply if you have this.

The role holder will have delivered and led challenging programmes with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. Experience of delivering a large scale implementation programme is essential. A change methodology qualification eg PRINCE II, MSP preferred. A high quality degree level education and is essential.
