Our client, a global Mining organisation with major offices in Brisbane is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Site Infrastructure Manager. The $700 Million coal project in QLD's Bowen Basin is a greenfield project in execution phase with commencement of construction early in 2012.

Based initially in Brisbane for 3 months (5 day week) to provide technical and design direction and also to develop project specific site construction management systems before moving to site on a family-friendly roster, until September 2013.  Our client is looking for a motivated professional to join their experienced leadership team.

Essential Requirements include:

• Construction management experience (coal and major civil works)
• Strong background in the construction of coal mine infrastructure; major earthworks, roads & minesite workshops and admin buildings construction experience (onsite)
• Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering discipline with a proven track record and keen commercial acumen
• Well versed with cost control and budgets
• Absolute commitment to Safety
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Client side or strong EPCM background
• RPEQ membership or eligibility

• Show initiative and have excellent problem solving skills
• Be creative thinkers with excellent written and verbal communication
• Have the ability to effectively manage site teams
• Possess negotiating skills and the ability to facilitate meetings is imperative
