Senior Software Engineer:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team for a one year plus contract position. We are using cutting edge technology to create online travel software in an Agile, Scrum environment. Specifically you will get the opportunity to learn and use Scala.
Desired Skills:
- Scala professional or open source project experience
- Expert-level programming and design skills in Java or equivalent
- Functional language programming experience a plus
- Passion for and experience in building innovative software.
- You create lightweight solutions to business problems
- Commercial experience with distributed, high-performance systems
- Database experience (MySQL &NoSQL preferred)
- Lift web framework
- Self-starter, rapid learner, self-taught
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
