ELECTRONIC DESIGN ENGINEER
Position Summary
The position is responsible for the designing of primarily low power analog circuits for battery powered equipment. It also serves as a liaison between Company and Outside Regulatory Agencies and Outside PCB Houses.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Design of low power analog and some digital circuits for battery powered equipment. Experience with Hardware Design is a plus
2. Responsible for setting up all new electronic component part numbers into new part number system
3. Function as liaison between Company and outside PCB house. Responsible for managing the proper lay out of electronic PCB assemblies. The creation of PCB Assembly drawings for production
4. Managing vendors on creation of custom products
5. Intrinsic Safety Design experience (UL or EN).
Other Duties
1. Building and prototyping your own circuits
2. Participating in weekly staff meeting, design reviews and impromptu meetings
3. Multitasking since there is no such things as 1 project
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree. Must have at least 10 years experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
