DESCRIPTIONThe Security Program Manager will perform maintenance to the Security Management Manual for a lab. Identify critical assets, functions, and processes and identify the security protocols designed to protect them.
Responsibilities
- Provide directional alignment of Security post orders.
- Maintain colleague and contractor compliance.
- Maintain the Emergency Access Program designed to provide immediate access to responding law enforcement, firefighters and/or other emergency medical personnel in response to a site emergency or crisis.
- Objectively challenge Security policies and procedures and offer suggestions to ensure best practices.
- Encourage innovation and ensure continuous improvement throughout all facets of the security program.
- Provide and develop a comprehensive benchmark analysis of security door alarms generated by the electronic access control system and strategies for response.
- Provide expert security support to Human Resource Department during potentially hostile terminations and/or downsizings.
- Must possess and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
- Ability to respond within two hours to the site to assist in the management of any crisis event or security breach.
- Understanding of maintaining security programs in pharmaceutical environment.
- Complete understanding and experience of investigation strategy in a corporate setting including but not limited to: case management, scene analysis, interview and interrogation techniques, multiple suspect elimination, report writing, surveillance, photography, witness protection, etc.
SKILLS
Must possess and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
