Our client is a leading global financial institution. A formidable Global force within Fixed Income and FX Markets. This is a terrific opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in Financial Services.

A highly dynamic and collaborative team, focused on maintaining Mission Critical systems and infrastructure and are also responsible for the transactional systems within the Organisation.

You will be working in a fast-paced Trading environment often against the clock to meet stringent deadlines.

The incumbent of this position will be required to provide Level 1 IT support to cover Incidents and requests affecting users within the Australian Capital Markets team.

  • Execute the provision of 1st Level Support on requests and incidents
  • knowledge of Windows/Office Suite 2003+
  • Provide management and resolution to requests in a timely fashion
  • Activation of Blackberry devices
  • Effective liaison with users over IT Incidents, Outages and Changes
  • Perform application and Systems Access reviews
  • Positive thinker with drive and initiative: a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and objectives with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a keen interest in new technology trends
