Key responsibilities include:
Develop and enrich non-product content and ensure consistency of this across the site, and assist conversion rate e/g/Buying Guides, Help & FAQ
SEO analysis (including Keyword research) to drive the implementation of optimised content that complies with best SEO practices
Analyse web metrics to ensure that content and architectural developments support the customer journey and have a direct and measurable impact
Optimise the web site in terms of promotions, search and navigation configuration to increase sales
Work with the Online Marketing team to maximise the effectiveness of traffic driven to the website
Manage internal stakeholders and external third party relationshipsTo be considered for this role you will have:
Demonstrated understanding and appreciation of online retailing
Experience in using a CMS
Proven experience in website user experience
A passion for creating refined interactions with a high level of attention to detail
Direct experience in onsite marketing and content activities and analysing performance
Strong communications skills
Flexible, open and good at working with a broad range of people in a fast-paced environment
Works well autonomously with an ability to manage time efficiently across concurrent tasks
Displays a high level of initiative and drives for results
Knowledge of eCommerce platforms online merchandising technology, content and search management tools
An understanding of SEO techniques and onsite optimisation
Web experience (HTML, CSS, Photoshop etc)
3+ years experience in onsite marketing, merchandising and content management
