DESCRIPTIONThe Network Services/Support consultant will provide Tier 2 network fault management. This includes proactively resolving and escalating network incidents affecting the customer base and resolving trouble tickets referred after Tier 1 troubleshooting was performed via the service desk.

- Must possess a solid understanding of the skills required to troubleshoot and resolve multiple types of device technologies, by understanding and using various tools, utilities, and processes.
- Able to effectively operate and alter device states to restore service.
- Practice critical thinking and troubleshooting skills while assessing customer impacts.
- Exercise independent decision making to select actions that restore network service.
- Requires critical and immediate decision making to resolve or prevent network incidents.
- Must remain current on skill growth as network devices and topologies evolve.
- Customer communication skills are practiced regularly as well as ability to translate incident details to customers, Leadership, and Outage Management entities.
- Required Certification: CCNA
