Description
The Role of Internal Recruitment Specialist will involve:
*Working in partnership with HR Managers and Hiring managers to identify, set up and evaluate effective channels for attracting candidates for key roles.
*Working with HR Managers and Hiring Managers to advise on selection tools appropriate to vacancy.
*Advising managers on recruitment best practice and processes
*Identifying opportunities for recruitment campaigns and events where volume in vacancies or roles exists and synergies can be captured through bulk recruitment activities.
*Monitoring candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process, identifying concerns and making recommendations for improvements
*Advise, coach and support hiring managers on policy, process and tools to ensure consistency in recruitment that adheres to best practice, is compliant legally and with GE company policies.
*Collating and tracking recruitment metrics
*Monitoring progress on all vacancies, based on metrics and ensure momentum on roles.
*Assisting in the maintenance of strong working relationships with Master Vendors and professional organisations.
*Relevant Bachelor's degree (Business or HR) or equivalent level of experience.
*Demonstrable success within in an operational recruitment role.
*Current knowledge of candidate generation methods eg utilising social media
*Excellent relationship management skills including stakeholder management at senior level
*Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced, pressurised environment and a tenacious nature to drive through to conclusion
*Ability to work effectively in a team environment and engender a positive working environment.
*Strong interpersonal skills - having the ability to quickly build positive working relationships
*Have a proven ability to focus on continuous improvement and innovation
*Relevant experience of candidate generation methods.
