A leading Semiconductor organisation has some new opportunities for Mechatronic engineers within their Mechatronic Systems Development department. The successful Mechatronic engineer will be responsible for the specification, design, integration and qualification of Mechatronic subsystems and components. The work will focus nanometer accuracy positioning of components. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly innovative R&D focused organisation within the semiconductor industry.Job Responsibilities;
-Work in multidisciplinary project teams
-Responsible for design and qualification of module functions
-Specification of Mechatronic subsystems and components
-Undertake architectural design, considering the interplay between mechanical, electronic and software considerations
-Selection of components and technologies
-Apply specialist knowledge in one of the following areas - control, dynamics, position measurements, actuator systems
-Integration and test of functions
-Documentation of specifications, design and test results
Requirements
-Educated to Masters level in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Physics
-Experience with position measurement systems, handling systems, control engineering, actuator design and dynamics
-Academic or practical background in Mechatronics
-Previous experience in working in multidisciplinary project teams is essential
