Summary:

  • Works with proponents and sponsors to develop business cases that highlight the costs and benefits of proposed projects for presentation to upper level management
  • Directs a team of subject matter experts, technical specialists, and support staff to produce a business plan in conformance with established capital planning procedures and agency guidance.
  • Develops requisite documentation for review and approval of appropriate governance bodies
  • Proactively collect information to document, analyze and evaluate existing or propose future business processes and/or systems for improved operational efficiencies and productivity
  • Evaluates software already in use and commercially available software for merits relative to meeting the organization's needs
  • Provides technical guidance to and works with user representatives on their formulation of requirements for proposed applications and/or changes to existing requirements to meet the needs of multiple users and/or alternatives for consideration
  • Develops specifications which set forth operational parameters such as: input, outputs, basic decision rules and program interrelationships
  • Develops program elements such as: inputs and outputs, hierarchical structures, interface plans, file layouts, control requirements, processing and timing requirements, and test plans
  • Designs and monitors the execution of software testing, coordination controls and implementation plans; and conducts post implementation evaluations of systems, all to ensure the integrity of the systems design and the phases of its implementation
  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information
    being processed, stored or accessed by the network

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint and MS Office SharePoint Server (MOSS)
  • Highly self motivated and directed and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Must have excellent Customer Service skills
