Description
The successful candidate MUST have extensive Retail Banking experience within a Group Finance function, and most likely will be a qualified Accountant. Additionally, this is a very fluid environment, so this person must be exceptionally pragmatic and flexible. Please do not apply if you do not have the relevant experience.
The role will include:
* Lead setting of requirements for Finance, Treasury & Risk systems requirements with the Business Analysts in the appropriate areas.
* Lead work with Organisational Design team to work up the detail of the Finance, Treasury & Risk Organisational Design in particular Shared Services, using SMEs from areas as appropriate.
* Work with SMEs to estimate Finance, Treasury & Risk function FTEs throughout all programme phases.
* Lead the CFO work with the People & Organisation team to define the required Finance, Treasury & Risk capabilities.
* Specify and determine the optimum approach to create Finance, Treasury & Risk capabilities (insource/outsource, TUPE etc) working with People & Organisation workstreams
* Lead Finance, Treasury & Risk process design and build (working with the Organisational Model team) and ensure integration with the systems build.
You MUST have
* At least 5 years' experience with finance/risk systems in a retail banking environment.
* Experience of leading Business Analysts using SME knowledge to produce detailed Business Requirements.
* Detailed understanding of organisational design of a CFO function.
* Experience of Transitional Services Agreements.
* First-hand experience of a Finance &/or Risk transformation project.
