Title: Windows/VMWare Info Systems Analyst

Description:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for implementing, maintaining, administering, and troubleshooting:
Server hardware platforms and their Windows Operating System and related software
VMWare environment, including performing server migrations, monitoring performance, upgrading, patching, and Scripting
Add-on software in support of Company's Windows based n-tier application infrastructure.
These add-on software products include Web Servers, Mid-tier Servers, Web Traffic Reporting and Analysis software, Content Publishing, Terminal Services, etc.
This position coordinates support efforts between designated resources across the company to ensure that problems and issues are addressed.
The analyst will work closely with:
Infrastructure Services Engineering and Support personnel to insure proper implementation and configuration of new technologies
Development Consulting and the Business Intelligence and Integration group in Application Services to insure implementation of N-Tier application strategies
IT Customer Support Center and IT Operations Center to ensure that proper procedures are in place to support end-user requests and to populate the IT Knowledge Base
Education Requirements:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Computer Engineering desired or related work experience
Vendor certification desired (VMware, Microsoft, and Dell)
Skills and years of experience desired in order of importance:
Implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows server hardware and OS, as well as Windows Infrastructure add-on software. (5+ years)
Implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting a VMware vSphere environment including experience with server migrations, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and Scripting (VMWare vSphere PowerCLi). (3 + years)
Implementing and configuring VMWare Management Assistant
Desired skills:
Knowledge of storage (EMC) and networking (Cisco)
Knowledge of n-tier application infrastructure
