We have an immediate long term contract opportunity for an Application Support Analyst (Operations Support) The role is to provide to provide 24x7 (ROTA) 2nd and 3rd level support within the EXPERT support team within a live Financial trading environment. This is not system admin level but OPERATIONAL supporting the Linux and UNIX platform and trading applications (based on Linux command lines) on a LIVE Real Time electronic trading exchange platform. Technical environment is RedHat Linux some UNIX/Solaris; VMS or Microsoft Win2K/NT ( Windows 2000 and Windows NT); Scripting languages eg Korn Shell, Perl or DCL; databases eg Oracle, MS Full SPec upn application.
Long Contract (12 months +) training will be given if you have the basic skill set. Financial Exp preferred but not mandatory. This is a great opportunity to move into the Capital Markets Financial sector.
