Description
My client, a FTSE 150 construction, engineering and services company based in Central London are looking for a temporary accountant for around 9 months to assist a Financial Controller with the additional workload created by an Oracle system implementation and newly created shared service centre. You will assist with the project of implementing Oracle and the transfer of certain processes to the service centre and overhead budget for 2011 and future plans for the next 3 years. You will also be involved with preparation of statutory and tax reporting for 2010 and a range of ad hoc duties as directed by the Financial Controller. You must be a qualified accountant with good up to date knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and corporate/statutory accounting. This is an extremely high profile role working in a plc head office therefore it is essential that you are hardworking, a good communicator and have the ability to deal with people of all levels.
