Mechanical/Product Design Engineer- Consultancy/Medical- Solidworks, Plastic injection moulding, surfacing.
My Client a leading Consultancy are looking for highly skilled Mechanical/product Design Engineers to join their team working on some newly won exciting projects, the highly skilled mechanical/product design engineer will have knowledge, skills and experience in some of the following:
*CAD experience Solidworks (Plastic injection moulding, part design, surface design, draughting, assembly design)
*Database management VPM/3DCOM
*Relevant engineering based design work within a consultancy/Medical environment or similar.
*Production techniques using Solidworks (Plastic injection moulding, Machining, Fabrication, casting)
*Basic PC skills (word, excel, outlook, Powerpoint)
*Excellent communication skills.
*Creative and thoughtful approach to solving engineering & CAD/Solidworks challenges.
*An excellent 1st or 2:1 degree (not so important if you have the right experience)
*Strong creative and technical
*Preferably experience in one of the following commercial environments:Medical Devices, technical/design consultancy; technology start-up; new product development department using Solidworks
*Relevant practical experience, analytical and creative capabilities
*Hardworking, flexible and adaptable
The Consultancy I am working with is one of the most highly regarded and innovative in the UK with continuous success year in year out and long lasting client relations. They are now looking at making a quality addition the design department for an initial project related contract of 1 year.
