Project Description:
The SFA team is looking for a Systems Engineer to assist with enabling the company software development community. The SFA team provides an automated Software Factory to company product teams involved in chipset software and firmware development. The Software Factory is comprised of infrastructure running on both Windows and Linux across the entire globe.
Primary Skill: Windows Server admin; Power scripting; Linux server admin
Other Skills: Linux Shell scripting-Hosting background (web/database/application)
Daily Responsibilities:
-Server provisioning (both Windows and Linux)
-Software Installs/Configuration (web servers, database servers, and other 3rd party or custom applications)
-Participation in daily Scrum as part of a Sprint
-Basic and advanced troubleshooting of Infrastructure:
verifying connectivity, configurations, performance analysis
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
-Windows Server administration
-Powershell Scripting
-Linux Server administration
-Fundamental understanding of n-tier architectures, along with web and database server concepts
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
-Linux Shell Scripting
-Hosting background (web/database/application)
