Funds Research Analyst - Investment Funds - London
A Funds Research Analyst with several years experience is required to recommend, manage and provide ongoing governance for the selection and retention of funds, ensuring all internal criteria and external regulatory requirements are met.
The successful Funds Research Analyst will analyse and evaluate external collective investment funds as requested via Funds Oversight Manager or Proposition Manager and make recommendation on the suitability of new funds/managers, conducting due diligence against defined fund selection criteria.
Relevant Experience:
* Several years experience in investment research or multi manager fund management capacity
* Solid experience of working in a fund platform environment
* A good understanding of financial markets in general (including offshore), and solid knowledge of portfolio management strategies across asset classes
* In-depth experience of the collective funds industry (including offshore vehicles) and the fund level and corporate governance principles
* High proficiency in qualitative and quantitative assessment of funds
* In depth knowledge of investment management concepts
* Ability to manipulate and interpret risk and performance data
