Systems Programmer

Our large Energy client is looking for a Systems Programmer for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC. Candidate will participate as a member of the CCDM (Collaboration, Content, and Document Management) Infrastructure and development team to maintain and enhance client's existing FileNet and SharePoint infrastructures.

Responsibilities:
-  Manage and coordinate multiple simultaneous infrastructure projects/tasks, ensuring implementations meet all commitments for scope, schedule and cost.
-  Perform various infrastructure configuration and maintenance activities.
-  Manage infrastructure to ensure high level of availability and functionality to end users.
-  Make recommendations for technical and process improvements as they relate to our infrastructure.
-  Work with other IT departments to ensure that infrastructure is built and maintained according to requirements and IT standards.
- Create documentation and standard operating procedures for administration of infrastructure.

Required Skills:
- At least 10 years of experience administering/managing Windows based Servers and applications.
- Experience with IBM's FileNet document management platforms (P8, Content Services, and Image Services).
- Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases, storage solutions, server clustering, Active Directory (AD), load balancing, and backup/recovery solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and is able to present (orally and written) technically complex subjects in an understandable manner.
- Strong team player that works well with others.
- Works independently with very little direct supervision or review.
- Strong ability to work on multiple projects with competing demands.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to automate system administration tasks using Windows PowerShell or similar technology.

Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Experience with Microsoft's SharePoint platform.
- Knowledge of Sword Fusion product line.
- Knowledge of Oracle AutoVue Enterprise Visualization Solutions.

Working Conditions:
- Occasional after business hours and weekend work.
