Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Sr. Java Developer/Designer for a 6 month contract-for-hire, which can be done remotely. Even though this is a telecommute position, there would be occasional trips to Waltham to meet with the management and development team. Individual should have at least 10 years of development experience, with exposure to phases of the development life cycle. This project is new development of a financial application system that will process large amounts of transactions daily. Individual must have experience with mission critical, event-driven applications that are scalable to up to a million financial transactions per day. This position will involve heavy design work as well as development of the modules within this application system. Individual should also have working knowledge of MQ (Messaging) and understand system integrations.
