CONTRACT POSITION
Project Overview:
Our Accounting Procurement Technology team is upgrading to Oracle R12. This effort will likely affect most of our applications within Corporate Accounting. Our current Oracle Business Suite implementation has been significantly customized, and we are looking at this as an opportunity to move to a more standard implementation. Our Oracle Business Suite specifically includes Financials, and Procure to Pay capabilities as well as Project Costing. In addition to the eBusiness Suite applications, we have a number of in house developed applications that use the General Ledger and other features and databases within the Oracle implementation.
Description:
o Domain Skills
Strong knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite
Experience with eBusiness Suite upgrades. Nice to have 11 - R12.
Experience working with Finance implementations highly valued.
Excellent problem analysis, collaboration and creative solution-building skills
o Technical Skills
Experience working on projects using Oracle's AIM methodology
Working experience in functional testing and database testing, including strong SQL knowledge
Familiarity with Cross Product test planning.
Working knowledge of QualityCenter and Rational Team Concert is preferred
o Team Player - Will be responsible for closely working with Dev/System/Business/Testing team members by establishing good rapport and providing clear communication in a timely fashion.
o Accountability - Works under minimal direction, may determine and develop approaches to solutions
o Communication Skills - Strong communication (written, oral, presentation) skills
o Project Tracking Skills - Maintain status of project and monitors activities of team members, initiates discussions with stakeholders or external groups to resolve issues, works directly with the user community as needed for issue resolution
o Strong technical, teamwork and partnering skills
Roles & Responsibilities:
o Compatibility Testing for Oracle eBusiness Suite applications
o Work with India offshore team to analyze existing test suite and identify Build comprehensive library of re-usable components using BPT in QualityCenter suite
o Assess test requirements and identify functionality best suited to automated or manual testing
o Execute functional and automated test cases and analyze results to verify design requirements are met and in compliance with Quality standards; report test status and follow to ensure testing is completed successfully
o Responsible for writing test cases and defect management using QualityCenter
o Guide/mentor the associate in the team and ensure delivery as per schedule
o Proactive communication related to any issues
o Closely work with the Dev/Business team to ensure that testing needs are met
o Status reporting to management both onshore/offshore
o Learn quickly and improve domain knowledge in a short notice
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent training and experience .
