In this position you will be enhancing existing systems and building new automated trading capabilities in electronic FX capabilities.

The successful applicant will be expected to take responsibility for management of several eFX application environments. This includes working with the application development, application support, and infrastructure teams in testing, deployment, and building of new environments. In this role you will - 

  • Participate in designing the production and test architecture for a number of eFX applications
  • Provide guidance with the assessment of technical/system related issues
  • Install, configure and manage Linux and Windows systems
  • Design, document, and build new environments
  • Assist with networking and Firewall design and documentation
  • Assist with documentation of support runbooks and application design documentation
  • Deployment of code to testing environment
  • Troubleshoot day to day environment access issues
  • Scripting and task automation, including deployment process 

As the successful candidate for this role will have:

  • Prior experience working with financial systems in Investment/Institutional Banks
  • Experienced in UNIX/Linux and/or Windows administration and Database Administration
  • Experienced in system and network architecture design
  • Experienced in system performance testing
  • Experienced in managing a projects day to day environment/application availability
  • System testing principles and has an ability to carry out performance testing tasks
  • Posses the attention to detail, in particular with the quality of documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal with business, internal resources and vendor's representatives
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and in conjunction with various project teams
  • Prior experience as a vendor or with system implementation is preferable
