eCommerce Category Manager: MBB
This position is responsible for driving and managing the strategy and day-to-day operations of their respective sales channel or product category on our client's owned E-commerce web sites. This individual has accountability for developing and executing on a strategic roadmap in order to deliver on KPI's as defined by management; bounce rates, conversion rates, overall sales, etc. He/She will make key day-to-day decisions on maintaining and improving the overall customer shopping experience and be accountable for overall sales numbers.
Manages the day-to-day operations of their respective sales channel or product category:
Will thoroughly understand and track key business measurements and Financial KPI's that directly impact their area of ownership.
Manages the day-to-day operations of their area; customer flow, site changes, filing CR's, offers, price changes, discovering and tracking site defects, etc. Actively monitors and identifies areas of improvement for their channel/category, and prioritizes decisions based on ROI that will directly impact million new potential customers per month.
Manages and deploys new product/category changes and improvements, and collaborates closely with internal and external teams at the peer, Sr. Manager and Director levels.
Minimum Required Skills/Competencies:
+7 years Internet B2C commerce, driving business/sales strategies for large eCommerce websites (+$50 million/year)
+7 years online marketing and/or product management, and effective website merchandising for large brand name website (min 5 million unique visits/month)
+7 years experience web analytics, forecasting, developing business cases, inventory management
+7 years category management (online or offline): proven experience creating successful business requirement documents
2-5 years of Project Management experience using structured methodology required.
Experience working with multiple vendors within tight timelines.
Past experience understanding and communicating multiple work stream schedules.
Prior cross-functional team management experience required.
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering solutions and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven experience managing geographically diverse teams and/or teams in a Matrix organization.
Bachelors degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent work experience required.
Preferred skills: Wireless, Telecommunications, and/or Sales industry experience preferred.
Project Management Certifications preferred
