Project Engineer - CSG to LNG- Upstream facilities

• Contract position based on a leading day rate
• Start in Brisbane and mange the project to site
• Work on the largest petroleum project on the East Coast of Australia

A highly respected Australian Petroleum company has confirmed that they are progressing to earlier construction activities in anticipation for their CSG - LNG project here in Queensland. Their immediate focus is on the upstream component which includes managing and executing the wells drilling program; design, construction and management of the Gas Processing Facilities and Water Treatment Facilities, main gas transmission pipelines, low-pressure gas and water gathering pipelines; and providing high voltage main power for operational requirements.

You will work in a technical team with a sole focus on delivering high quality engineering for the various upstream facilities. Your responsibilities will include design review, design modifications, interface with the construction contractors and work closely with the site manager through the construction and commissioning phases. There is a high level of autonomy in this role and you will be entrusted to play a critical part of delivering this multibillion dollar project.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

• A degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience working within a major projects environment
• Exposure to Australian pipeline codes - AS2885
• Previous leadership experience is highly sort after
• Experience providing approvals of calculations, technical notes, requisitions, specifications and drawings for similar types of oil and gas projects
