Description
Leading Tier 1 bank requires an IFRS Change consultant to be a key member of their IFRS Change team working within CIB.
Almost all accounting standards with a significant impact on investment banks are changing, primarily in response to the global financial crisis. This includes financial instruments classification and measurement, how to fair value, impairment, consolidation, revenue recognition, offsetting, hedge accounting, leasing and insurance. Most standards also require significant additional disclosure.
Essential skills - high level of accounting experience
- High level of investment banking experience in particular performing accounting analysis
