RF Engineers (x4), Australia
Vilicom is a leading provider of consultancy, project management and engineering services to the mobile industry. We currently have four positions for RF planning engineers to work on the development of LTE networks in Sydney and Brisbane. This is a good chance to get involved in 4G and work in a great location.
About the role:
- Preparation of radio network designs
- Perform site surveys and deliver detailed designs
- Producing site packs to assist acquisition, planning and budgetary sign off
- Produce equipment call-off documentation
- Delivery of the required coverage and capacity KPI's
- Simulation of network performance
- Assist with the tracking and management of network delivery
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years RF experience with focus on cell planning and optimisation
- Radio network planning and capacity analysis skills
- A good understanding of antenna system optimisation
- A thorough understanding of radio link budgets and radio performance
- Detailed knowledge of RF antennas, site design, and radio propagation models
- Good experience of radio network planning tools (eg Atoll, Asset) and GIS analysis
