Description
Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with solid experience with Oracle 10g, 11g, RAC installation and maintenance. Candidate must have experience working in a production and development environment.
Responsibilities include:
Management and maintenance for:
- Write and run DML and DDL SQL and PL/SQL scripts on multiple databases
- Create scripts and procedures to facilitate the DBA activities
- Database backup and restore
- Instances, Security - users and schemas, Listeners
- Storage space, Clusterware, ASM, Streams, Dataguard
Advanced tasks in Development include:
- Database architecture design and improvement
- Database performance tuning, self-healing and recovery,
- Design disaster recovery/multiple data center database architecture
- Design Streams/Dataguard replication scripts and processes
- Automated installation and upgrades of Oracle 10g, 11g, RAC
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
- Oracle 10g RAC (clusterware) experience, ASM, Flash Recovery, Streams, and Dataguard
- Linux, Windows
- 3-5+ years as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
- Experience with RAC servers
- Experience implementing Oracle patches, User Accounts
- Experience cloning Oracle instances and maintaining configuration management
- National Agency Check (NAC) or DoD secret security clearance (preferred) is required
- Experience working in a US Air Force Oracle implementation preferred
- Secret Clearance
- BS Degree
