Description
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, writing, designing, and executing test scripts for internally-developed software applications; participating in software-project related activities and meetings; completing and maintaining departmental documentation, records, and reports; understanding complex software applications and architecture; and having knowledge of advanced testing procedures.
(Duties & Responsibilities purpose of the function and result to be accomplished) include but are not limited to those listed:
Learn and understand business processes and software applications surrounding application development(SAS).
Write and execute test scripts based on software requirements.
Gather test data and if necessary, create test data for software testing.
Document and clearly communicate defects found during testing, the steps to reproduce the defect.
Work with the project team to determine resolutions for software and requirement issues.
Communicate project estimates, risks, issues, progress, and test results at appropriate times.
Complete and maintain high-quality project and departmental documentation.
Actively participate with entire development team including users, tester, validation, database administrators and Quality Assurance Compliance.
Understand and follow the (SDLC) software development life cycle and related processes defined

Qualifications
* HS/GED +5 years relevant experience w/app certs; or 7 years relevant experience w/o certs
* MSCS +* BSCS +5 years relevant experience
