Hello, our healthcare client in Fremont is looking for a Technical Performance Analyst for a 6 months + contract.

Resilience of various components of the IT infrastructure needs to be tested for a new EHR implementation. The Technical Performance Analyst will be accountable for analyzing all components of the IT infrastructure for projected values of user load and other conditions.
Following would be the job responsibilities of this position:
- Devise scenarios spanning multiple infrastructure components and develop test scripts to determine the performance profile of the various infrastructure components
- Use HP LoadRunner to develop user load scenarios from various applications
- Set up performance test scripts on multiple platforms with corresponding monitoring and data collection tools/setups
- Analyze performance test results and make suitable recommendations
- Collaborate with the various platform experts in developing the test scripts, setting up the performance tests and analyzing results
Required Experience and Skills:
- 8+ years of experience working on various platforms such as UNIX and Wintel in technical development, database/OS administration, technical implementation or level 3 support roles
- Deep experience with end to end technical performance analysis and troubleshooting in a variety of the above-stated roles; knowledge of network performance considerations is required
- Ability to visualize all components of IT infrastructure and create scenarios for performance/stress testing and scalability analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in order to present recommendations succinctly
- High level of comfort and adaptability working on different infrastructure components and databases
- Experience working with Epic EHR application workflows is a plus
- Experience with cache database and/or cache programming is a plus
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to prioritize assigned tasks. Must possess ability to work in cross-functional teams within a Matrix reporting structure.
