Description
Connections have an opportunity for an experienced Draughtsman to join our client based in Dyce, Aberdeen who has the need for a Design Draughtsman (Solidworks) for a 2 month contract position.
The purpose of the Design Draughtsman's position is to assist the Senior Design Draughtsman, and/or other Design Draughtsman, to create the design documents required for the Design Engineers. This may include copying existing or creating new documents in either 2D or 3D file formats.
We require:
*Excellent knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD programs (SolidWorks is essential)
*Knowledge of fabricated high precision products
*Creation of 2D & 3D files to facilitate the required design as given by the Functional Design
Specification
This position is urgent and as such candidates available on short notice would be preferred.
If you are a confident user of Solidworks and have previous draughting experience, I would be very keen to hear from you.
